Working creatively
Each teacher will use the best resources to make each topic relevant and interesting. Where possible the teachers will try to link the subjects across the curriculum.
An example of how planning is done to link subjects is shown below. This is based on an African fiction book, Handa's Surprise. Through using such resources the children learn more about the different cultures and customs.
