Admissions to the The International School Ikast Brande will be monitored and revised by the governing body every year. Should a waiting list occur, priority will be given as shown below:

1. International pupils moving to Denmark, with limited Danish
2. Children of families who intend to work in another country.
3. Students that are bilingual in English and another language.
4. Pupils seeking an international education

Registering pupils

The parents will be required to complete a registration form for each child. The forms can be found on the school website or by asking in the school office. On receipt of the registration fee the child will be enrolled as a pupil at ISIB.

It is important for parents to give the school as much information about previous education of their child so that schools can be contacted. Any medical history should also be declared at the time of registration.

An assessment of language skills will be carried out in order to place the child in the correct group.

The fees required by the school are updated and displayed on the school’s website. Fees are paid monthly and should be paid to the school via direct debit by the 6th of each month. It is important not to get into arrears with payments as it could jeopardize the child’s education.

Costs of school trips, lunches and after school provision are not included in the tuition fees. A laptop computer will also be required by each pupil in the Upper group.

Leaving the school

Students leaving the school must give 1 month’s notice. This 1 month’s notice also applies in the case of a student leaving the school at the end of a school year.

Fees

What does a first class education cost? In both cases below, there is a 25% discount for your second child. Also, fees are payable over 12 months. Our fees for 2012/2013:

Registration Fee 3000 DKK (non refundable)
Early Year's Unit 2600 DKK per month with a Danish Social Security Number (CPR) number.
Early Years Unit 4000 DKK without a CPR number.
Pupils can also attend Before and After School Club free of charge.

School Fees
Applicable from August 2012.
Registration fee 3000 DKK (non-refundable)
School fees are 2200 DKK per month with a CPR number.
School fees are 4000 DKK per month without a CPR number.
School fees are 4000 DKK for any pupil registered after September 5th.
Pupils can also attend After School Club free of charge from 14.00 - 15.00. Must be booked in advance.

Out of school provision

Breakfast Club 400 DKK per month. (07.30 - 08.15 only)

After School Club FREE for the first hour when a child is a pupil at ISIB. Must be pre-booked.
After School Club 400 DKK per month (15.00 - 1600 only)
After School Club 200 DKK per month (16.00 - 17.00 only)

One day pre-booked Breakfast Club 30 DKK.
One Day pre-booked After School Club  50 DKK (15.00 - 1700)

Please note. This provision is closed for all public holidays, during Christmas holidays and 3 weeks in the summer. Holiday dates must be booked by the deadline provided by the school. The deadline depends on the dates of the holiday.
