This week ISIB said “farvel” to our Interim Head of School – Ms Bell. We have had the pleasure of learning from and working alongside Ms Bell for five years and have shared many wonderful memories over the years. Ms Bell’s final day was wrapped up with her IG2 ICT class completing their final ICT examination and celebrated their completion with pizza.

Due to COVID restrictions, we adapted our ‘Farewell Assembly’, whereby each year group organised a little goodbye for Ms Bell in their classrooms. Early Years drew some exceptional portraits of Ms Bell; Year 1 created a farewell video and pictures, Year 2 had designed a flower with greetings on each petal and gave Ms Bell a cup of coffee and some cake; Year 3 created a photo collage with some lollipops; Year 4 performed a wonderful song and dance for Ms Bell; Year 5 recited a lovely farewell message; Year 6 recorded, edited and played a fantastic video saying their goodbyes; Year 7 presented an incredible farewell video; Year 8 constructed some cards and gifts for Ms Bell; IG1 delivered a powerful speech and wrote some personal farewell letters to Ms Bell; IG2 decorated a t-shirt which displayed some messages from all students, perfectly written through HTML and CSS coding; and finally Year 11 brought Ms Bell to Café Nohr for a farewell meal.

We thank Ms Bell for her dedication and hard work at ISIB since 2016 and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
