This week we held a whole school event in collaboration with the Danish Society of Nature Conservation (Danmarks Naturfredningsforening), as part of our Green Flag project. Students in all year groups put on their gloves and went on a full school ground clean up, picking up litter along the way. Bags and bags of rubbish was collected in an attempt to clean up the environment and save the planet. Students in IG1 and IG2 found some interesting items hidden in the surrounding areas of Hjertet including a shopping trolley and an old bicycle which they dragged out of the water and the forest. Students studying at home this week were also sent out at the same time to help out with the event and many selfies were sent in from the students cleaning around their local area.
