This week in science Year 2 have been investigating different types of soils. They started their week using magnifying glasses to investigate colour and particle size followed by a little bit of messy investigating using their fingers to find out what the texture of the soil felt like. Next week they are going to be using their new knowledge of soils to decide which soil might be best to grow some seeds.
