During this unit, year 11 have been working to manage finances and make a budget for a project for their maths lessons. Shopping for the final product and extend it to create a food budget for a family for a month was their final lesson objective. They have used ratio and percentage to find the correct amount of ingredients. Finally to finish off the topic, they had to create a full meal within their budget. We had to wait for our final part due to lockdown. We could not wait for the delicious end of our project so we have decided to enjoy our well-earned time in the kitchen.
