Year 2 are getting into the holiday spirit this afternoon with a paper chain challenge. The children were set a double challenge by Miss Brown! The first challenge was to create a repeating pattern in their paper chain and the second part of the challenge was to create the longest paper chain! To discover if they had won the challenge they had to use their knowledge of measuring to calculate the winners. I think we can all agree they did a fabulous job and now their classroom looks fun and festive whilst using their maths skills they have learnt this term!
