A busy International week at ISIB

An interesting week!

On Monday I spoke with the Kommune about refugees and how we as an International community are better suited to support and help them. This then went in to the local newspapers and we are already in contact with families looking for support and education.

Tuesday I visited the International Society meeting in Herning with the HeadSTART Denmark team. Check them out here. This group help expats enter Denmark by offering advice and contacts with Danish based individuals from a people’s home country so they can communicate and discuss what it’s like here. They are always looking for Country Ambassadors so have a look.

Wednesday we had the International Rotary club in the school and an excellent presentation by a charitable organisation - NIIS – who help refugees and immigrants find work in Denmark. An amazing team of volunteers who work tirelessly to help others.

Overall a busy but excellent week meeting Internationals.
