As an International here in Denmark working in a school of international and local families it’s important that we maintain and build our links with the community. Last weekend I was at the expat fair in Herning along with Christiane and Donnacha providing information about the school and meeting other expats. Both the International Rotary Club and the International Society along with many others were in attendance and these also use the school in the evenings for events and meetings. The local International community is strong and always looking for others to join so have a look at what they do.
In a more local sense look to your own community, as the weather becomes colder, power prices rise people may struggle in these difficult times and a helping hand or a word of support goes a long way. No matter where you are from or language you speak we should never look down on anyone unless you are helping them up - stay positive in the weeks ahead.
