The passing of a Monarch

Over the last week thousands of people from all over the world have sent condolences and commiserations to the UK. The death of Queen Elizabeth has affected millions of people in all corners of the globe and her loss is felt around the world.

This weekend the queue to walk past her coffin in London will be over 5 miles long and last four days, hours of waiting for a few brief moments of saying goodbye highlights the respect and love people had for her and she will be greatly missed.

Usually I write the blog about education but, in terms of global effect, her death will mean global changes and as an International school we feel it even here.

Rest in Peace.
