The Ukraine

In the school we have children from all nations and cultures, including the Ukraine. Nearly all of our children here have grown up not knowing about war or its effect on people. They are now discussing it, unsure and in some cases worried about what will happen next. As parents we need to talk to our children and ensure that they know the facts about what is happening. Social media can often be wrong so using a good news channel and being honest is important. If necessary seek professional help if your child is showing anxiety or is becoming overly worried. As our thoughts and prayers go out to those in distress we should also look to our own community, we are one community and one family and together we are stronger.
