Wild - and too wild - food

Writer's picture: Kevin BrownKevin Brown

As we hope winter slowly draws to a close (snowing again this week) we can look forward to walking and foraging in the woods and fields around us. The spring allows us to see the budding plants and gather food form nature. However, it comes with a warning – not all plants are edible – knowledge and identification are essential. There are also laws about where and what you can gather so as we turn toward a better warmer spring over the upcoming holiday its worth reminding ourselves about the law and identification of plants.

Check out this link which simplifies what we need to know.
