Sinthujah Sitaraman - Danish Teacher
Sinthujah was born in Sri Lanka. She and her family moved to Denmark in 1988 when she was 4 years old. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Sociology, and she completed her Teacher Training in 2009. She has worked in both private schools and in “folkeskoler”. Furthermore, she has worked as a Danish teacher at a language school, mostly teaching expats with higher educational background. With this experience, she looks forward to contributing positively to challenges foreigners may face when learning Danish. Sinthujah also has sound knowledge in the requirements and standards within the Danish system.
Sinthujah lives near Aarhus with her husband and two children (8 and 6 years). In her freetime, she loves cooking and being creative.
She is passionate about teaching and creating her own teaching materials. Sinthujah is also extremely excited to work in a professional environment like the one she has experienced here at ISIB.
Additionally, it is also great to be a part of this multicultural environment where all lifestyles meet with mutual respect. I have had the privilege of meeting and teaching our bright and sweet children, who have given me a very pleasant welcome.
