International School Ikast-Brande seeks an inspiring and dedicated Danish Teacher / Dansk Som Andetsprog Teacher 

​

International School Ikast-Brande (ISIB) is seeking a qualified, motivated, and student-centred Danish Teacher with experience teaching Danish to students from Year 1 to Year 11 (0.–10. klasse). As part of our ambition to further develop and strengthen our Danish programme, the Senior Leadership Team welcomes applications from both Danish as a Mother Tongue teachers and Danish as an Additional Language teachers.

We warmly welcome applicants with middle leadership experience, especially in team development and exam leadership; for the right candidate, there is potential to take on coordinator responsibilities, supporting the Senior Leadership Team in strengthening our already successful Danish department. 

​

This is a full-time, permanent position starting in August 2025. Who are we?

International School Ikast-Brande is located in the heart of Denmark and has approximately 200 students across the Primary and Secondary sections. Our students are highly motivated and speak very positively about the school. We are committed to providing high-quality international education to families relocating to Denmark, as well as to local families seeking a rigorous international curriculum for their children.

Our student body is wonderfully diverse, representing a wide range of nationalities and cultural backgrounds. We encourage our students to balance academic achievement with a well-rounded, healthy lifestyle. From an early age, we instil in them a strong sense of right and wrong, empowering them to make thoughtful and responsible decisions. As a result, we enjoy a positive school climate with very few behavioural issues.

Salary 

​

Salary will be in accordance with the collective agreement and union contract between the Ministry of Finance and the Teachers’ Central Organisation.
