Secondary German Teacher

International School Ikast-Brande (ISIB) is looking for a Secondary German teacher with experience teaching German to students from Year 7 – Year 11. Ability to teach German from CEFR A1-B1 standards is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teacher IGCSE German – Foreign Language. Interviews will be arranged immediately as the Leadership Team would like to recruit as soon as possible. The position is a temporary full-time position as a maternity cover with an August start for the academic year 2024 - 2025. We encourage all applicants regardless of ethnicity, religion, age, and gender to apply for the position. 

The School: 

The International School Ikast-Brande is in the Heart of Denmark. It has approximately 200 students on roll spread over the Primary and Secondary sections. Our students are highly motivated and extremely positive about our school. The school is committed to providing high-quality international education to families moving to Denmark and students from the surrounding area seeking a more international education for their children. Our students come from many different countries and nationalities providing a rich and diverse school environment. Salary: 

Salary is per the collective agreement and union contract entered between the Ministry of Finance and the Teachers Central Organisation. 

Please note that both local and international teachers work in the same pay scales.
