Key Stage 3 (Lower Secondary phase) Year 6 - 8

Here in ISIB students enter year 6 as the transition year between Primary and Lower Secondary education. This transition year is used to bring all students to a development standard so being successful in the Key stage 3, often called the Lower Secondary phase, is easier and allows better progression.

 

 The students have the opportunity to study English, Maths, Science, Danish, Global Perspectives, German, Spanish, History, Information and Communication Technology, Music, Physical Education, and PSHE with individual specific subject based teachers.  

​

On progression to year 7 we start to focus on providing the foundation knowledge for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) work after year 8.
