Admission Process

There are several steps to follow when applying to ISIB.

 

Step one should be completed, with no exception, before your child can be considered among other applicants.

 

Step 1

Fill in our Visit Request Form online. If you are having problems filling in the application form, please email the school (admission@isib.dk) and we will gladly attach a form while replying to your email. Alternatively you can pick up a form in our offices.  An appointment with the Head of School will be confirmed on the receipt of a 500 DKK application fee, along with the receipt of your child's transcripts from their previous school, letters of recommendation, special needs history (if any) and a photograph of the child.

 

Step 2

 

After completing step one, you will be invited to an interview together with your child. If you are out of the country the interview will be conducted online. During the interview you will have the chance to ask questions you could not answer from our prospectus or online information.  You will also receive a tour of the school facilities. The school will try to find out more about your needs and make recommendations concerning placement or additional requirements before continuing the admission process.

 

Step 3

If after the interview you are offered a place at ISIB, you will be required to fill out the registration form.

All payments should be made before your placement is confirmed (registration fee, first month’s fee and two months deposit).

 

Step 4

The placement of a child is determined not only by his/her age but in combination with his/her previous academic placement. The grade placement is made by the Head of School on the basis of age, demonstrated academic history, and previous grade placement.
