We aim to make our admissions process as simple as possible for prospective families. If you have any questions, please contact the school secretary, Ms Henny Brayd, at email@example.com.
Complete the online Inquiry Form. If you have problems filling in the application form, email us at and we will send you the form as an email attachment. The form can also be collected from our school office during normal school hours. We ask that you provide your child's reports and/or transcripts from their previous school, letters of recommendation, special needs history (if any) and a recent photograph of your child.
Once we have received the completed form, we will arrange an appointment with the Head of School and our Admissions Officer. The interview is a chance for us to learn more about your child or children, and make recommendations concerning placement or additional requirements. You and your child will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Following the interview, you will be given a tour of the school campus and Hjertet.
If you are not in Denmark, the interview will be conducted online.
If your child is offered a place at ISIB following the interview, you will need to complete the registration form, and arrange to make the required payments. These consist of the registration fee, the tuition fees for the first month, and a deposit. (The deposit is equal to two months’ tuition fees, and is returned to you when your child leaves ISIB.)
Note that all payments must be made before we can guarantee your child’s place.
Your child’s placement in a year group is based on several factors, including age, academic attainment, and social maturity. Our preference is for children to be placed with their chronological peers as far as possible, except in cases where there is a compelling reason to do otherwise. Year group placement is made by the Head of School.
