The Student Representative Council

The ISIB Student Representative Council was founded in 2018. It consists of two students from each class who are elected by their peers, from Year 5 to the school’s most senior students in Year 11.

Who we are

We are open-minded, inclusive, fair, balanced, organised, committed, and mature, and we see ourselves as vehicles for change. We know the wishes of the student body, and have the determination and willpower to make them come true.

What we do

  • Contribute to the friendly learning environment for all

  • Promote fairness and equality

  • Listen to the student body

  •  Collaborate and work hard together as a team

The Student Representative Council meets regularly with Ms Laxy Gunasingham and Mr Donnacha Burke. The Head of School also attends meetings when required. These meetings are an opportunity for students to share ideas and suggestions raised by their classmates, for discussion and consideration.
