The Student Representative Council

The ISIB Student Representative Council was founded in 2018. It consists of three students from each class who are elected by their peers, from Year 2 to year 9.

Who we are

We are open-minded, inclusive, fair, balanced, organised, committed, and mature, and we see ourselves as vehicles for change. We know the wishes of the student body, and have the determination and willpower to make them come true.

What we do

  • Contribute to a friendly learning environment for all

  • Promote fairness and equality

  • Listen to the student body

  • Collaborate and work hard together as a team

  • Develop sustainability through the Green Flag initiative

The Student Representative Council meets regularly with Ms Nunes and Mr Donnacha. The Head of School also attends meetings when required. These meetings are an opportunity for students to share ideas and suggestions raised by their classmates, for discussion and consideration. Their main focus this year will be to develop sustainability at ISIB and to implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals throughout the school.
