Donnacha Burke - M.Sc.

Donnacha is from Cork, Ireland. His academic history includes a bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Environmental Science and a master’s degree (MSc) in Ecology. He taught at university during his studies, which sparked his interest in teaching, and Donnacha subsequently obtained a degree in teaching English as an Additional Language (EAL). He feels lucky to work with children of all ages, and to see them become more confident in their English capabilities.

Donnacha moved to Denmark in 2017 with his partner and has fallen in love with Danish design and people. Donnacha's interests include fitness, reading a fine book, travelling, and learning new languages.

Donnacha feels at home in the ‘hygge’ culture of Denmark, and enjoys working in the innovative, inspiring and creative environment that is International School Ikast-Brande.
