This week is Innovation Week at ISIB. This hotly anticipated school event involves students from Year 6 all the way to our senior students in Year 11. Each group of students has to create its own mini-company, including drafting a business plan, developing a marketing strategy, obtaining the resources they need, and managing a budget. Each student has a specific role to play: say, as a manager, financial manager, marketing and sales manager, secretary, or human resources officer. In short, this is an excellent experience of using personal and academic skills to solve real-world business problems, as well as working as part of a team to achieve a shared goal. We look forward to seeing the finished ideas at the end of the week!
