Laxy Gunasingham

Laxy was born and raised in Berlin, Germany. She came to Denmark in September 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Technical University Berlin in German Linguistics. Her studies focused on the Theory of Language, Psycholinguistics, Language History, Linguistic Typology, Text and Pragmatics, German as a Foreign Language, Clinical Linguistics, Neurolinguistics, Phonetics and Speech Science.

Laxy has worked at the International School Ikast-Brande since 2018. Diversity and international exposure have always been important to the decisions she has made in her career.

What Laxy likes about Denmark is the safety and the family-oriented lifestyle. It's always been an open truth how safe it is in these parts of the world. Before Laxy moved here, she read that Denmark is one of the happiest and safest countries in the world, and it doesn't disappoint!

In her spare time, Laxy likes to explore towns in Denmark and she appreciates the picturesque villages, a countryside that varies all the time, well-preserved castles and clean, sandy beaches.
