Hopefully your students, from Year 8 and below, have been chatting about the new mentoring program the school has in place. Older students (Year 6 to 8) work alongside younger students (EY to 5) on projects, academic subjects and having fun! Its proving a great success as well as teaching leadership, teamwork and emotional intelligence. The school is using the GROW model (Goal, Reality, Options and Will or Way forward) and by using the model students help the younger ones achieve realistic goals with ongoing support.
