The mock exams for year 10, and various other class assessments approach, sometimes students can suffer from exam stress and a student who is usually excellent suddenly finds things difficult.
Here are some tips on how to relieve the stress and make it easier on the family!
Ensure the student makes a plan of small steps for study, keep it to 15 minute sessions. Use a study buddy if it helps. Eat healthy foods and get a good nights sleep. Ask for the teacher to help if you need it.
Finally remember the mocks are there to help you understand the exam procedures and where you are in your learning, they are not there to make things difficult.
Simply eat well, sleep well, plan well and ask for help when you need it – good luck!
