This week I spoke to all the children about what makes our school special! When I asked them to look to the left and then to the right to their friends and class peers what is it they see? A vast range of colour, race, culture and difference but everyone dressed the same. As one community and one family it is essential that we understand that this is the strength of the school.
Right now many students have families around the world who are not as lucky as we are, floods, disaster, oppression, war and famine affect millions across the globe and some of our students. Understanding each other is key to an International education and our lessons on debating, global perspectives, mentoring and cross class grouping ensures that we do not stay in our own small bubble but learn about those around us.
Why is the school special? It is because regardless of who you are and where you are from - our school is for you.
