Today is a very special day for us all, but especially to celebrate the women in our lives.
International women’s day is a celebration of the female whether it be a mother, sister, wife, daughter or partner.

Here in Denmark we stand second in gender parity within the EU scoring well in five out of six research areas but with some failings, Denmark scores almost last in gender parity in childcare with women taking far more time to look after children than men and also scores poorly in gender based violence.
However gender based pay gap has been reducing consistently over the last decade but is still over 12%.
So, today say thank you to the women in your life, celebrate them and support them.
